Project update

What Im doing:

1: I will try to photograph all the church signs in london within a circle that surround the city (look at photo).

2: My photographs will mainly be for my unit 14 design project, but I will also try to submit them as a photographic masterpice project. Im nt sure wether I will present the whole collection or a selection of the most interesting ones yet.

3: When I have photographed all the needed photos, I will start analaylzing them into at least thre main categories, and then in to several sub caegories under the three main ones- these are:

LINGUISTIC CHARACTERISTICS

DESIGN CHARACTERISTICS

TECHNICAL CHARACTERISTICS

Im not sure about all the sub ctaegories yet, but it will themes like shape, colour, hierachies, verbs, layout, etc etc

4. I will also try to collect more personal stories, interviews etc, aswell as look deeper into anti design, DIY sign making etc.

5: Im not sure what form the final product will have yet. Ive been thinking about a book, posters, instalation etc etc. I have to get back to this when I have finished point 1, 2 and 3.
